Our concept is to assist widows and orphans live long and prosperous lives through psychosocial (Group therapy), socio-legal and legal support. YWAP runs a support center for widows and orphans in Kayole estate in Nairobi, Kenya and a support office in Siaya town, Siaya County in Nyanza province. Majority of these widows who lose their matrimonial homes tend to end up In Kayole hence the center is a temporally home for young widows and their children who have lost their homes and property to greedy and selfish in-laws.

Our core function is to advance interests of widows and orphans, promoting their rights and generating public awareness on issues of property ownership, sexual and inheritance rights. We aim at reducing destitution among widows and their children
